Sal Petralia is a LPL Financial Advisor with Anchor Financial Group. He has more than 33 years of experience in retirement planning, investment management, accounting and tax analysis. A recipient of the Five Star Wealth Manager* award for quality client service, Sal has also received more than a dozen awards from LPL Financial recognizing him for his outstanding client service.
Prior to college, Sal served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. He then worked as an IRS Tax Auditor and in corporate finance before starting his career as a Financial Advisor with E.F. Hutton. During this time, Sal taught courses in Managerial Finance, Marketing, and Taxation at Mount Washington College and Rivier University in New Hampshire. For the past 20 years he has also written “Money Matters,” a monthly financial advice newspaper column in Massachusetts.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Merrimack College in 1972 and his MBA from Suffolk University in 1977. Sal is a Certified Financial Planner™. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 51, 63 and 65 securities licenses with LPL Financial, and life and annuity insurance licenses. Sal has served his community through the Kiwanis Club, Exchange Club in Massachusetts and S.C.O.R.E., which counsels individuals and small businesses. Sal and his wife Lynda relocated to Naples, Florida in 2012, where they are currently full-time residents.
